Apple Ridge Studio — Day one - the carpet is gone

My studio space was carpeted when we moved in almost 1 year ago. I have been wanting to rip out the carpet and install a nice hard flooring material. I bought some laminate flooring on sale at Costco and have it stacked in the other room awaiting installation. Monday morning is trash pickup, so today was a good day to tear out the carpet and pad and make way for something new.

Can’t wait to see the finished result. The laminate should prove much easier to use with the seamless.

I called Bob on very short notice for some pictures. I did not have any hard & fast rules so Bob’s direction and guidance was really appreciated. I felt really comfortable with Bob’s process; he & Julie helped to create a fun & casual atmosphere.
