ISO is the measure of your cameras sensitivity to light. The larger the number the more sensitive it is, thus the better your possibility of getting a sharp image in low light situations. This image was shot around 8:30PM in a dimly lit coffee shop. I bumped the exposure compensation to +1 to brighten the scene and shot with my 50mm f1.4 wide open to get as much light as possible. The result is a crisp image that would have been quite difficult at lower ISO.
