I taught a DSLR Basics workshop all day, then went down to Joe Louis for Michigan State vs. Michigan CCHA hockey, so I’m tired and took the easy route for today’s post. This image was taken with my iPhone 4 set to HDR mode. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. One thing that is readily apparent is that the HDR mode isn’t well suited to active subjects. The moving hockey players came out with ghost like duplicates, while all the stationary items worked out nicely. I’ll have to experiment a little more and I’ll report back when i understand how the iPhone handles HDR a little better. For now I’m off to collapse.
