  • Friday, June 14 – Saturday, June 15 – Camera Mart Demo Days!  Have your camera cleaned while you learn from the manufacturer’s reps about the new equipment.
  • Saturday, June 15, 2013 (6-8 pm) – Vintage Baseball Game Photo Walk – Rochester Granger’s Twilight Baseball game – Van Hoosen Farm, 1005 Van Hoosen Lane, Rochester Hills, MI  48306.  Photograph the players dressed in Civil War era costumes.  Fun for the whole family!
  • Saturday, June 22, 2013 (9 am – 12 noon) – Portrait Photography Training – Photography in the Field – $35, Rochester Municipal Park, 816 Ludlow, Rochester, MI  48307 (In the parking lot of the Rochester Community House).  Learn how to pose your subject, how to adjust for a variety of lighting conditions and more!
  • Saturday, June 22, 2013 (2 pm – 6 noon) – HDR:  Training, Capture & Process – $45, Robert DiTommaso Photography Workshop, 6841 NORTH Rochester Road, Ferber Warehouse Complex, Suite 100-I, Rochester Hills, MI  48306.  During the workshop, student will be training on how to capture and process the HDR images.  It includes heading to the Rochester Park to capture a variety of images to practice on back in the studio.  Bob uses eFex Pro2 HDR software.
  • Saturday, June 22, 2013 (8 pm) – SuperMoon Photo Walk! – Join Bob and a group of intrepid photographers as they photograph the largest moon of 2013!  Group will be photographing at the Bald Mountain Recreation North Area, Indianside Road, Oakland, MI  48363.

Summer Basic Photography Workshops

Watch for the 6-hour Basic Digital Photography Workshop offered through LivingSocial / AmazonLocal.  This class helps beginning Digital Photographers understand their camera functions and settings.  Bob walks you through all the camera basics!  The workshop runs from 9 am to 4 pm with an hour break in the middle.  The workshop is held in our Rochester Hills Studio & Workshop (6841 NORTH Rochester Road, Suite 100-I, Ferber Warehouse Complex, Rochester Hills, MI  48306.  We are on the Northeast corner of Rochester Road and Tienken (25 Mile Road)).  The promotion will launch Saturday, June 15th online!

Fall Color Photography Safari – Hocking Hills, Ohio

Friday, October 25, 2013 through Sunday, October 27, 2013

Join Bob for the 3-Day Photography Safari to the beautiful area of Hocking Hills in Southern Ohio!  Known around the Midwest as a Photographer’s Destination, the Hocking Hills area is filled with waterfalls, rivers, ponds, caves and LOTS of fall color!  Bob will keep your shutter clicking and the technical training flowing the whole time.  This Photography Safari is limited to 10 students.  Reservations for the group are at the Holiday Inn in Logan, OH.  The Photography Safari is $350.  Transportation, lodging, meals and park fees are the responsibility of the student.  Learn more about this wonderful adventure in Photography at Bob’s Meet-up site:  http://www.meetup.com/Rochester-Photography-Workshops/events/103252002/

Bob is based in Rochester, Rochester Hills area, however we are happy to travel to where the action is.  Utica, Macomb, Auburn Hills, Lake Orion, Lapeer, Clarkston, Pontiac, Troy, Sterling Heights, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Beverly Hills, Farmington Hills, Southfield, West Bloomfield are some of the places we’ve worked.  Invite us to join you and help us expand the list!  Bob offers photography workshops in Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia, California and Arizona.  Photography workshops are planned for a variety of locations throughout the year.  Most of Bob’s exotic location photography workshops  are held at a National Park.
